Don did you race FV in 2004 @ bellwood?
I was there but dont remember your boat.

Others should have the mid to early 1987 to 1991 races, and the 1998 races. The Dunnville ones were on Cable 14 out of Hamilton and are the best quality. Let's try and get them all!

YES, we just raced the one day Sunday in SST 60.
We won the first heat and blew the powerhead in the second heat.

I watched a few of the tapes to-day. Eric your Uncle Rob is in a lot of them. First with a VooDoo and in later years with the Critchfield. I mentioned on another post about EP trying the OMC 56 at Dunnville in the 1990's. I have that race. Rob Gordon runs it on a VooDoo and leaves the pack behind off the dock only to be caught and passed in a couple of laps by the FAST! 49's.
There are some very good races in all classes. BOY everyone was a lot younger back then. Maybe we can all bring their tapes to the next TORC meeting in Jan. and forward them to Eric from there.

Awesome! Good idea about everyone bringing them to the torc meeting. Just make sure you label it so you get the right tapes back! Those are the videos that i really want to see! I've always been told that my uncle and dad built the first short 56ci motor for ep but I've never seen the videos of it on his voodoo only a few pictures. I'd love to do the whole collection!

I just watched the 1994 Dunnville races. They are some of the best races I have seen.
It was a very windy day.
Tom Allison in SST75 [SST90/SST60] takes a big run on the first lap only to barrel roll in the end turn.
Robert Stanley totally destroys his Mod U boat in the same turn. in his race.
It is also the race where Teddy G. blew over his Mod U before heat 1 so he didn't race.
EP has lots of hooks and some close racing between Mark Major and Steve Wrong.
In EP we also see the appearance of Rob Gordon's 56 OMC VooDoo.
Also, on the tape are the Sport C races.
Eric, when you get the tapes be sure to put this one up ASAP. It is a good one.
