Question and answer
I am thinking of racing a 70 hp Yamaha, what do the 70CES carbs look like, where can I get a 15 inch mid section and where to I get the small gear case?

what do the 70CES carbs look like
The original 70CES carbs will have 6J2 stamped on their base. The carb is exactly the same carb as the 6H2 or 6H3. The only difference is their jetting. They do not look like the 90 hp carbs which are much larger.

where can I get a 15 inch mid section
Talk to Paul at TOP GUN. He is on this site. Good fellow to know!

where to I get the small gear case
Again go to Paul first. If your going to race, the T guys will make sure you have the equipment you need.

Question and answer
I have been reading most of the posts about T boats. Is anyone really going to race a Chrysler?

It may happen, but, I don't think it will be LC. Its a battle of wits between LC and DOC. Two fun guys who really enjoy racing and especially racing each other. Chrysler did made motors that are legal in the classes. Remember a Force Outboard is really a Chrysler. LC and DOC please no Star Wars comments.

The Right hand turn in T Boat.
I told you guys I was interested in having a right hand turn on some courses. Well the British boys tried it. More like a dog leg, Here is a video.

+1 for a right turn. That'd be a great addition

I would like to try a right turn at the 2013 Six Mile T Party. That way we can run a few boats thru the course at a time and get their feedback. The boats appear to slide far more doing a right turn. The addition of the right turn will really change your prop selection. Less pitch because of the shorter distance to the turn and less diameter to avoid the boat from sliding to the left. Advantage Yamaha!

The T Booklet first draft has been received by TORC Executive. First impression was...they like it! I just hope I don't have you use some of Erik's wordings! I still need to add some engine details. pictures and revise some of the text. We will have time to do this before the Toronto Boat Show, I would like to have a HARD COPY at the TBS even if it is not the final version to show people interested in T Class.

I wonder if having this POWER TRAILER DOLLY would speed up the launch process for T Class and maybe work for Drag.
Has anyone ever used one?
