Ahh,...as of 9:45am today, I'm $125 poorer, Hydroid household has begrudgingly bourne additional liability. Knowing The Kid has a need for speed, against advice of Actuaries Association of Ontario, citizens beware, another racer on the road.
Over last 2wks Mom's been asking Kris what to get for Bday,....she suggested clothes, pants/shirt from Banana Republic. Now,... we all know clothes go out of fashion, get tired, outgrown. Gig is exception, his flood pants and grunge flannel will never be retired, fashion be damned.
Sooo, what never goes out of fashion???... A PROP. YES, a shiny, new, PROP!! Of course, it's the clear choice! For 10 days, I have been vigorously campaigning Kris to work up gumption to convince Mom his dearest wish is a new prop, in lieu of clothes($300). Sales features vs clothes: - No washing required, always shiny - Minimal depreciation - Holds resale value,.....Gig validate, ever seen a prop at bottom of Goodwill clothing box?...NO! - Can be tweaked, no hemming required. - Mom doesn't have to run store to store, get p'd off bc of parking, New Canadians at malls, blah, blah,...
Well, last Sat he went for it, and,...BINGO BANGO,....She went for IT!!! Bob's ur uncle!! Got a couple of Granny's who will be approached(read threatened) this afternoon with mercenary strategy, cough up $300 each, if they ever want to see their dear Grandson again... .
It's a beautiful T prop birthday. A 23 x 12 will be cast, shaped and born:)
NB: Transaction Agent/Broker(AKA I/me/myself) reserves first right to test, choice of props. End of f'n story. Geez,...I guess,....Jr does NOT get a new prop for Bday:) Happy Bday JR!
