is there any other hull that jumps to anyones mind? what is similar too a dl but maby has a little more awsomeness, something a little less common.

I would say something similar would be going to something such as a panther or a checkmate. Little less common, almost identical cockpit, and similar in design...plus if set up right like anything else can haul ass

im going too have a look at a DL RIGHT now..

wow those all look soo nice..good examples, i love the look of those hydrostreams...i was looking at a DL yeasterday it appears too have some nasty cracks up the port side and the windshild is broken i imagine from banging against a dock,the interior is good but soaking wet the transom and floor seem solid but who knows its been sitting wet all summer, the cover is growing mold. no one was around so i couldnt make an offer,,,, i found another DL with a 150 merc the hull in excelent shape the motor has a hole in the block there asking $5000 as is at a local marina im hopeing i can get the one with damage for way less but there asking the same 5g

Boomer I know of a 18dl in the Bala area running for like $4500.

There has been Tons of behind the liner discussion about this thread and about the effect on our boating community... and there have been warnings but not enough "off side" to scrap it like a merc...

i personally like this thread. when i told Boomer Mitchies boat started its life as sail boat...... he believed me.... plus whens the last time everyone got to say how they feel...
