Last time they came up for sale I shared it on the Hydrostream Owners facebook group. A ton of interest, nobody willing to step up. They are cool little boats, and there is probably a niche market out there for them, but there's obviously a reason they're for sale in the first place....

The Mini VooDoo was a legal boat in the CBF version of Sport C. Herb White raced a black Mini VooDoo for several years. The CBF version also allowed 40 cubic inch 40 hp motors. That allowed the 40 hp Mercury in the class. The largest motor allowed in the APBA version was 35-36 cubic inch. That is the reason why the Tohatsu was and still is the major motor in APBA Sport C.
There are several versions of CLUBMAN class around the world. They are a mix of tunnels and V hulls running wood or composite hulls in the same class.
We would not need a NEW class to cover these boats.
GT PRO/CBF Sport C/ S750
That would cover both V and tunnel hulls wood or composite from 15 hp to 60 hp.

Well I can’t justify spending the money, the owner of the mold is asking.
I am interested in running GT pro or whatever class would use a omc 31.8 engine.

I hope you hook up with the other two fellows interested in racing tunnel. You all would have similar sized boats with different motors.
Would you build a tunnel or V hull?
A good place to showcase them would be a Muskoka Sea Flea event. We may find that other people with tunnels or small V hulls show up at the same event knowing you guys are there. If there is a Dinghy built I will bring one to the event as well.

It’s been a while since I have built a tunnel hull.
