It's towed 4 skiers so far and it's great. The 115 HO will pull my 200 lb brother out with both feet in his slalom ski. I am lighter, so even better.

It was a long road. I was J Craft shopping in 1993 and bought a Hydrostream Virage instead.

47 gps and not bad for pulling a disk. We tend to fall a lot, but on a longer run I was able to set the throttle to a steady position with my brother on a disk. We have the hang of standing but fall a lot with a stool on the disk.

Get one of the old style "cottage table chairs" that has the wire that holds the 4 legs together. Those chairs have the perfect slope on the legs and usually have the black rubber feet on them that keep the chair stable on the disk. Might help prevent you from falling so much ;)

Coordination would help, but I hope to make up for it with practice. If I stumble across a chair I can buy one.

I finally tried my other props today. 52.4 with a 24 Raker at 5200 rpm. A bit sluggish accelerating.

50.5 with a 21 Renegade. Acceleration was OK. It took too much trim for the last 2 mph and that made the steering heavy.

I have a 21 aluminum that I did not try.

I succeeded in standing on my stool on my disk today. I did not succeed in getting back down, but it was fun and there is always next year.

We put our J Craft in my garage today. I think that boat is done for the season, but we left the battery in and did not winterize it - hedged our bets.

More is better. We bought a 150HO two weeks ago. Now we wait for the ice to melt.

61 mph with a cheap used 22 Raker. Pretty cool for a ski boat.
