So gentleman, I've been looking for a Charger all summer, and have looked at several so far, but most have been crap. I'd love a project, but I don't have the time or the space to take one on. I have noticed that pretty much every Charger SK I've seen is paired with a 150 on the transom, yet most of the DL boats I've run across have a 200 hung on the back. Is there something to this, or just coincidence? Inquiring minds would like to know..... All of the boats I've seen thus far have been 18', no 16 footers have popped up.

My SK has a Johnson 200 GT. Funny you say that, I've notice a lot of the Chargers has OMCs on them.

I thought they marketed the SK as a ski boat and the DL as a go fast boat. I'm pretty sure the race boats were DLs.

Well that makes some sense in terms of the power I've seen most of on each model. Still looking for a decent one, in any configuration.

I have not seen many SKs in person to comment but I have seen lots Of DLs with 150-200 HP. My guess is coincidence. Yeah these old boats are hard to find now in decent shape. Good luck with the hunt.
