Your new association has been working hard to develop additional events.
A Municipal meeting yesterday went VERY well and we are looking good for another event.
This event, for this year anyway, will be in September. And it's a centralized event.
We have a few more hurdles to jump before we can announce, but it all looks positive.
Hopefully we can announce and start promoting in early May.

We are also in negotiations with two other locations.
Details to follow.

Get those boats ready and don't forget to obtain your OPBRA and CBF memberships!!

Keep Sept 16-17 weekend in mind.

I know some of you have been wondering what's going on with your new Association.
We are working with CBF to obtain the sanctions for our two other events.
We cannot promote them to date until we receive permission from the Municipalities.
We are meeting with Council for the July event on May 23.
We are meeting with the other at a date to be arranged post long weekend to discuss site plan, etc.

OPBRA t-shirts have been ordered and should be ready for pick up by paid members by the end of this week. Fingers crossed.

Payment for venue rental for the September site will be submitted today.

We have some glorious sponsors stepping up to assist us with events and promotions but can always use more.
If you have an idea for a sponsor, or would like to become one yourself, please contact info@opbra.ca.

If you are planning on competing at the Rideau Ferry event, or the other two, please get your OPBRA and CBF memberships completed as soon as possible.
