Fastest Gearcase Finishing

Trying to figure out the fastest way to finish the gearcase. Is primer still considered the fastest, or is it better to go wet sanded paint? Or is there something else out there that would be faster? Looking for every MPH I can :lol:

I don't know if its any faster but it sticks great and has a textured finish. Its not the same stuff that alot of guys use on their hulls. Its more of a metal flake looking spray paint.
I'll see if I have a can kicking around somewhere. I prepped with zinc chromate primer.

I can't get that site up, will it work on the bottom of the hull? if you could post the brand name I will search and find a dealer , I have hooked outer sponsons on my ae- so sanding the last three ft of the bottoms of all three and looking to use a graphite coating if possible. thanks for help! btw, I fould a graphite coating spray or paint on called : E Z slide online, but not sure where to get it up here.EZ-slide graphite coating dealer: Kent Farm Store 9224 Allison Line RRS Blenheim Ontario 519 966-3003 other side of London from me. going to try noahs first and maybe someone knows the crappy tire brand that some guys are using on their hulls?Called Noahs, they recomend their E System epoxy mixed with some graphite powder, they sell both. I'm still leaning toward a spray can solution LOL!

Hmm, I'll have to look into the graphite paint then. All I know is that the primer holds water whereas the paint won't. I mean my boat doesn't sit in the water so it isn't a big concern, I'm just trying to look at some different options.

mine too sits in garage. There are some good rating from people in the states using easy slide graphite paint on their hulls. They say it slides right off the bunks, not sure how much difference it makes, just a bit far to drive . the graphite powder in epoxy paint Noahs sells sounds good as well, I'll post what I decide to do.Any other suggestions? Interlux makes a good two part epoxy paint with Teflon that is supposed to work great as well. can be brushed on as well.

What about blueprinting the bottom and not painting it? To me it seems that once you are flying there is not much hull in the water so what advantage is there to greasing her up? I am bringing this up as more curiosity than anything
