Renegade might work. It has a smaller hub.

I think your Renegade is probably too big of a diameter. looks like around 12.5" diameter would be the biggest for room under the cavitation plate. Don't think the little 2cyl 50hp would spin a 13"+ diameter prop anyways even if it fit.

One of the props we run on our two cylinder is a 12 3/4 x 23 cleaver

All this talk makes me want to buy another Voo Doo. Except that 3 boats is too many for me. Yet 3 is not enough for North Base. To each his own. I will stick with 2 boats.

You are probably right about diameter. It's easier to get revs with less diameter.

Dont go too small of diameter either, yes it might let the motor rev but you can go too small and not have the prop carry the boat properly. I found this out with a small 11 or 11.5" diameter 23 cleaver on my sst 60, revved like crazy but no push or lift like the 12.5" cleavers do

Thanks for all the info guys,
So it looks like I will be looking for a 13 spline prop around 12-12.5" diameter and around 20-22" pitch. Good thing I have all winter to look, doesn't seem to be many props that fit the description except maybe a race cleaver which I don't know how it would run on a recreational boat.

I did the same when I purchase my Delta, looked high and low, made some calls, checked out the marinas and the outboard shops. In the end I got a hold of Ron Hill and he made me one. If you go that way, get a Jeff Brown cleaver in a 12 1/2" by 22, so far that one runs the best for me.

Thanks, might just end up doing that. Wish our dollar was better though, between that and shipping its becomes a pretty expensive prop for a kids boat. I bought a prop from Ron Hill years ago, it was a 28" Hoss, decent enough prop.

Did you get it shipped through UPS? I got burned years ago by UPS for outrageous broker fees and refuse to use them anymore for cross border shipments. I have had good luck having things shipped from the States with their postal service USPS though with no extra fees.
