96 mph for SST60 is slow when you compare it to the sport E (SE) which is the 49 OMC class with no nose cone and stock position water pick ups. It is 93 mph. The drag pod gets the boat on plane quicker, but it hurts top end. Drags are about ET over a short distance so top end is less important.
