pfft no quit smoking, coffee and sugar.. im down 12 lbs in 4 weeks.. the dbr tune lowers EGT's merc has them tuned hot for emissions,, some say this can cause the gearcases to get hot also from the hot exhaust gases passing thru the lower unit. huge problem with the 300 xs is the gearcase getting hot AF oil expands and pushes out the seals..common stuff ask kenny.. fuck dave i must have you mistaken for a guy that reads..

This is not why the gear cases fail :)

I need one of those and the reseviour.

The bigger issue is the 3l sM don't have a plate separating the water pump and housing seal for the drive shaft. The original stock housing does not hold up.

Getting a aluminum 3 seal one is the most important. I'm going to run that and check my power after each run So see For myself how significant the shifter seal is. The greatest value of the shooter seal is the nipple for an expansion reseviour.

Thx!

Topgun has the 4 seal housings in stock. I made a bunch of them last summer for him. They also have a clip ring and are anodized to prevent corrosion.
