What are your thoughts on having a separate drag race purse for the upcoming season ?

Each racer in each class pays their normal TORC race requirements and then we would have our own. An extra $25-$50 per entry per class and paid out how we choose.
In my 8.90 class we pop in an extra $250 each and it's broken down like this. 75% to the winner and 25% to the runner up.

Not sure if there is any interest in something like that

might get a few of us to try even harder to set the boats up even better and in turn make for better racing. seems a good idea.
