No idea...merc always releases this stuff then tells merc Canada who then eventually tell us. I read about the 400r on SF before my rep even mentioned a new motor was coming lol.

It looks like it's for overseas and specific to the xcat class (obviously). I'm sure it will become available once it's in production....like the modvp did in the 80's..

I hope it has lots of warranty lol

:? Like the motor, like the marketing hype but was some what surprised that they are not availability in North America and she is expensive and heavy... :roll:

It's a lot lighter than the 400r with the loss of the giant AMS clamp and putting the sump in the boat...but it won't be Alliston light..but...a 24 Skater would be something I bet....maybe even the Tuff 21. I bet it's $50k though...
