googled it... the erie canal connects hudson river to lake erie.. the hudson river runs from NewYork to the Atlantic ocean :o ....... Fancy :D

Yeah it is pretty wild. I imagine once you are out of the Hudson and into the canal system it would be slow going to Erie. We would need Mitchie's superboat with his crapper and BBQ to make it the entire way lol.
