There's absolutely nothing wrong with using wood, when done correctly its better than anything else out there. Problem is when you cut corners on the install....

the ones hydrostream made with wood were good ,, its the newspaper cored ones you have too watch out for..

Ya...I love my wood core and transom...it's more the fact that they didn't cover it with anything lol.
