Ice is still very white I front of my place, water is super low. Though it has come up 8" or so, and it is thin around the edges.
Be a few weeks I think.

Don't be so sure. I've never seen the ice deteriorate this fast.
I walked around my dock on the weekend.......
I could drop the boat in now.

I heard that they were literally waiting in their tin boats to jump into the wake of the Coast Guard ice breaker...

We've got a half dozen boats in so far...looks like we'll be able to get out of the marina in the next day or two.....boating will still be closer to the end of the month though..

For us city folk going nuts for water scenery, would someone snap/post an open water pic, even if just shoreline opening up. Need a fix.

The ice let go in front of my place today.
I can probably run 50% of the lake as of now. Likely 90% by morning.
I walked around my dock on the ice 4 days ago.
It went fast! Lots of ice this winter but it wasn't very good quality.
Should have a boat in by Friday.
I'll email you a pic Hydroid.

Oh wow, that brings back so many memories of Glenn Burnery Marina. I really miss that place :(. That whole area, I miss it so much. One day I'll own a cottage there, it will happen.

Awesome. This is just what I needed. The toilet pic was hilarious. Looking like the ice is on its way out. The next few days will help! I got April 17 picked for out "ice out" bet. Feeling good about it haha

Thanks all. Keep the updates coming!
