A friend of mine has been telling me a lot about this product. At first I was extremely skeptical, I still am to be honest. Just wanted to put this out there to see what everyone else says.

Basically it's an additive that you put into every tank of gas. It makes the whole combustion process work better, giving more fuel efficiency, and more power. I'm likely going to dyno test it on my car as I have dyno numbers to compare it with. What do you guys think about it for boats? Would it gain someone a few extra mph?

http://www.mygf2fuel.com/ there's the link to check it out some info on it. What do you guys think?

I think it's horse shit. There is no miracle elixir that creates power. The only thing imo to create power is more air and fuel delivery. Forced induction, larger injectors, bigger fuel pumps, intake temperatures and air quality/density and exhaust flow. There is way more to increasing numbers Thank just using a fuel additive. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a reduction in your hp after using that stuff. Except race fuel or av gas.

The quality of the fuel being delivered is a factor. In my car if I run 87 octane I'll lose 5hp, likely more, but I'll never try it... I'm just curious if this stuff will work or not. Doubtful I'd see a loss in power though.

Snake oil....but....there's LOTS of fuel additives that do make LOTS of power...most of it eats your brain though.

87 octane makes the most power out of the pump if you can stay off the knock sensor...or (in Boomer's case) not have your motor eat itself...

X2 on the snake oil. As far as the "dyno numbers some of these companies claim for their miracle products, you can add a litre of turpentine to your cars oil after lowering it a litre first and you will see a noticable power difference on the dyno. Does this mean we should , hell no. I am not saying all additives have no use, I use de-carb or ring free from time to time as well as the occasional bottle of sea foam . Of coarse this is strictly for Yamaha motors. Mercs need ALL the help they can get!!!! there you go... the pot is stirred......

For the Opti guys don't forget "compressor in a can"...should help when the compressor decides it doesn't like its internal parts on the inside anymore  .

How would 87 make more power than 94?? With 94 you can advance the timing so much further and gain that extra few ponies.

REEEAD...if you can stay out of knock and keep your motor together it makes more power. Your motor is designed for 91 so you're not likely getting away with running less. That being said if you're upping your tune to deal with premium...

That would be an interesting dyno test though...timing limit on 87 how much power vs. timing limit on 91 hp.
