Nice to have spares. I have that in the plans in a few years. Look forward to our spring run this year. Just picked up a 30p prop from Quinton, the guy that bought James STV ,for the spring.

I was going to suggest maybe Tom goes back to the excel lol. Should be good for 90 on the old Triad and think of all the saved space in the garage!!! :mrgreen:

The old Excel engine is still running on Hoppy's Hydrostream. As far as I know, it runs great - very turn key.

Not sure if it would be good for 90 on the Triad? Maybe mid 80s with a rebuild?

Depends if it was tired I guess...mine ran mid 90's and Mitchie's triad was always a bit faster than me with equal power so I bet it would work pretty good.
