The only thing that I would want if I raced was a min weight like Lake Racer.

I say let's get more entries for this year and then you all can make possible changes. I've said this a million times but this class should really be our biggest , not the smallest class

I agree it is the run what you brung class made to get the average boat guy out and race, if there are to many rules rule it might turn some guys off. I am happy with things the way they are :) just looking forward to spring and getting back on the water can't wait for Gravenhurst!!

I got no issues, just happy to be able to get out and race. The minimum weight thing would help level things out a bit maybe. I think we were all running 200ish hp in formula correct? If they all weigh the same-ish it would make for more even racing id say. Jeff, is there a min weight in other formula classes in the usa that you know of that we could use as a baseline?

I do agree 100% however to just try and get more people in the class first before we stir things up. If we had 8 guys like lakeracer we would have a way better idea on where to go. And think of how many jcrafts, sidewinders, chargers, streams or whatever with 150-225hp motors that could come out an race. Hope to see a few more this year.
