Well heres a up date on the car, decided to made a new thread for it. Started off as a fairly clean 88 lx, plans for now are street/ strip car for now so i can still have some fun. 331 stroker, t-5 with some liberty gear goodies, 28x10 drag slicks. Floor on driver side floor pan by your feet is rotten. Rest of floor is ok but getting soft. Plan is to cut out front floor and run an sfi spec 25.3 cage design in the floor area for now, and add onto it later when i make the car quicker. Long term plan is single 88mm turbo 351w.
How the car started, stock mustang, put in a tubular drag race front k-frame. Stock k frames about 250 lbs, new ones around 15 lbs.


As of right now its choppy choppy time! Cutting out the stock wheel tubs and preping for the mini tubs. Will fit a 14" wide tire with out back halfing the car, just need to trim the rear frame.

Update, on a car trailer with a tarp over it in the driveway, currently doing a tranny swap on the g/f's volkswagen :s but ive got my coil overs now, just need a few parts from team z and the rear end can start to take shape!

On a side update engine plans have changed slightly, ive been drawn to the dark side, the LSX dark side. Im a huge ford fan but the bang for you buck on the ls motor vrs the ford its hard to say no lol

What parts do you need still

Rear mini tub kit/ coil over mounts from team z, then i can have the back on springs again, anti roll bar, front coil overs ( not completely nessasary yet) and the start my 25.3 style cage, going to do the floor/ main hoop and door bars to the 25.3 spec, that way when i wanna get going faster i can just add to the cage instead of start over
