Don't think you can wrap below the waterline.

A show quality paint job starts at about 18-20000$ where I work. And as said there well over a thousand hours in prep before you can even think of spraying basecoat. So for a decent boat paint job whole boat needs prep then primed with 300$ a gallon for decent primer then sanded down to min 800wet then base around 5-700$ a gallon for decent then 1000$+ a gallon for decent clear then sanded 5-6 times then polished. the hours add up quick. And yeah sand paper is stupid expensive.

I just painted a 19' ski boat with interlux brightside paint, foam roller an a foam brush. 1 week of sanding/ filling ect and 2 days to paint. Less then 100 bucks and it looks sprayed on i shit you not. Once its ready ill give it a buff.

Might even do my charger? Its got me thinking. Not a "show quality" job but at 80 mph or 10 feet away it looks awesome
