Got weekends mixed up. I'm still interested. Talked to Fraser, he can't.

This is an OPA event pending APBA sanctioning (thus points).
http://www.oparacing.org/
https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9814351,-82.4168454,14z

The deal is as follows:
No race on Saturday (swim test for all racers, open river, Sarnia Bay owner has invited us for free lunch and a place on the dock for the Drivers Meet and Greet (driver signing session) with the Offshore teams.)
Sunday there will be 2 15-20 minute marathon races, one on the Canadian side, the other on the US side of the St. Clair river.

I know Dunnville is the next weekend, it is big water on the river and not CBF sanctioned, but the Tboats are welcome to participate.

Thanks

The I raced the OPA offshore last weekend at St Clair. I have been asked to drive the boat again for this event, but if I could run the T boat that would be even better.

Looks like it's just you and me Jason. I'd love to race at this event. I just wonder what the water is like there as far as how rough it is. I'm guessing we'll need 5 to run?

The water is nasty... the current and wind churn it up pretty good and if there are any other boats on th course I would think it might get nasty for a T boat..... not to mention the frieghter wakes.....

I am not sure if my boat will even be ready ..... but if there was a group going I would try to be in.

The river will be closed for racing on Sunday, so no freighters or pleasure boats. The SLT courses will be small ones. The purse will be split evenly for all boats that race, including T boats.
