Difficult to tell from the picture if this is a long or short shaft. The trim could be factory or maybe it is in the set back.

Long shaft motor, the trim is in the jack plate. If it is 1977, it has older style block, choke carbs and electronics.

Paul doesn't have anything?

Paul said he was picking up my boat from the boat builders yesterday afternoon so i will pick it up from him today if hes at work and if he isnt ill get it tmrw

We'll let us know what you will need if Paul doesn't have anything for you. It would be good if you can find a complete short shaft motor.
