Just to confirm with everyone, since many seem to be unclear.

For Outboard, in CBF:

NO MEDICAL IS REQUIRED (not positive, but you might over 60 years old or something)

NO VISION TEST IS REQUIRED

All you have to do is submit the Medical History Form, that you fill out yourself. If you fill in something on there that the office wants more info on, they will contact you.

Thanks for the heads-up Andrew...I know this has a tendency to slip my mind until the very last minute!

Note, deadline is MAY 1, not April 1 as I stated above. (Corrected)

To update on some changes made at the CBF BOD Meeting on Saturday:

Joining CBF:
- New to CBF Outboard racers, first time membership is $50. I'm not sure how this will be worded on the form if it includes Drag or not since Drag is a separate line on the CBF form. Not much savings for Drag cost anyway.
- Junior rate criteria changed - was $65 for JSH/JSR/AXSH/AXSR - NOW it is $65 for anyone 19 and under.

- CBF will have a new logo design idea/contest announced very soon. Winner gets free membership of choice to CBF for either 2014 or 2015.

- New CBF website should be online within in a month or so.

That's what sticks out in my mind currently anyway.
