Z 570 worked out so i though i'd have a go at my old ZL
Image.

i cracked the frame in it a few years ago,

Image

then swapped the original 600 motor into a newer 2001 zr chassis.

Image,

after i rode that sled for a year and traded it, i decided the zl frame wasnt that bad so i took it apart and into a welding shop, then rebuilt the chassis

Image

i found a used zr 500 motor with 2200 miles and installed it, problem is it only ran on one cylinder
Image

i parked it for a year, now im having another go at it.. i'll start with cleaning it up..... again.....Image

she lives. :D still has a miss on the mag side, seems to have a weak spark on that side, i swapped coils from another sled and that made no difference. i might pop the flywheel off and take a boo... other than that the pilot jets were plugged solid, i cleaned out the carbs, then ran some seafoam threw it now it seems to idle good and take throttle again, other than the occasional miss :?
dunno whats up with the weak spark on the mag side
