so. the cylinder i sent out had no studs in it, all of them came out smooth, the cylinder i got back , has studs broken off in the exhaust side of the cylinder. :x whats with that. :x . i remember being charged an extra $20 the last time i left studs in so why should i have to pay full price for a cylinder with broken studs when i took the time to remove mine properly. sonofabitch. nothin' i can do but try to get them out without fukking my new cylinder. and move on. i'll let nikkatech know im unsatisfied  too late to send it back now tho.

Weld a nut from the inside to the broken studs to get em out, requires a steady hand but works slick.

i got it out i had to use a punch too work it out, someone already tryed to drill it out. i got it and re tapped the threads , they should hold.

i put one side together im still waiting for that damn reed valve,, its a odd design, the reed vavle goes on the bottom of the cylinder so i cant put it together untill i have it :(

and im kinda confused as to why i got a ported cylinder back from nikatech :? the exhaust port is 0.200" bigger/higher. not .020 its a full 2/10" bigger  :?

You might want to consider sending that back while you still can; a ported f/c cyl is more than likely some home hack job.. Is it nik?

i called the guy i originally brought my cylinder to, he asked me to bring in both cylinders too show him what was wrong,
he has never seen this and also noticed there is a decompression relief on the rebuilt cylinder, so he called nikatech and explained he had a customer who noticed i difference in the 2 cylinders, but the listing in the book shows the same number for z 570 02-current ,

the guy at nikatech looked in his book and said his said the same.

so what is going to happen is, the old cylinder goes back they will find a cylinder to match mine and sent it back, and he has his best and brightest looking into correcting the part numbers in the catalog, and thanked me for finding the issue. :D

your welcome z 570 owners :D Gold star for Boomer

im going to run premix threw it and keep an eye on the oil level. :? primary clutch is also way gone, i had to lend one of mine. i re jetted up 2 sizes and lifted the needle 1 setting, re-adjusted the oil drive, hopefully it stays together.. if this doesn't work i should build one more then quit
