I don't think glass sticks to well to pressure treated either.....high quality spruce

I wasn't really questioning the build quality, just not what I was expecting to see after following hundreds of hydrostream rebuilds lol

I think they use fir alot for stringers. No idea what bcb used tho

.. looks like spruce. i'v never seen it like that but what do i know,, i use Douglas fur ply and laminate it together. ,, im no rocket scientologyst but im sur 8" spruce will be plenty rigid ,, hydrostreams have like a 2" stringer so they need ply.

I'm pretty sure that boat is thick enough that the stringer are there to hold up the floor lol.

Lol im pretty sure i noticed zero difference in hull strength/flex when we removed the stringers in the first place
