So I finished up my floor a couple weeks aro. I ended up mixing lacquer paint with contact cement (3/1) and the slinging it around with a small brush. I threw down lots of white in hopes of keeping temps down in the hot sun. I wasn't crazy about how it turned out at first but it's starting to grow on me. I don't think I'll ever try removing carpet glue from a boat ever again. It would have been easier to put down a new floor lol.

These little guys kept me company through all of it lol.

I am completely in love with it. Carpet just holds water. It looks good dude.

As for your flexible grippy little buddies.... Don't get too attached. I have stories. :o

Momma was living in the garage with permission as she was so polite but she stopped coming home a few days ago:(
The kids have been aloted one glass of milk and a hamburger bun a day only until they are old enough to F#ck off. Call me a suck but Racoons are like Canada's Koala Bear.
I'm really digging the idea of no carpet. I threw a little non skid sand in with the black to help prevent summertime spills,

Add some liquid honey in the milk...they love sugar! Coke is another favorite beverage, we had one that would steal it if you weren't watching...and wait for them to get in your boat and rip your seats apart! they won't be as cute then. One of the little bastards got into the delta a couple of weeks ago and tore out all the foam I put under the deck :o

That turned out great actually! Totally easy to clean up a bit of water now that won't sit in the carpet.
