This is starting to smell.

Unless Jason has 2 boats. His boat is a T850 Yamaha.

66.69 MPH is close to the T850 record.
Is there video of his T750 boat?

Thanks for posting the link. Looks like a Winrace likely a GT30 hull. Too bad we were never able to get the GT30 molds Greg purchased.

I looked into the history of T750 records and compared those records with some of the other T classes. After doing the research I think 66 mph is SLOW for the class.
T750 has not had the interest compare to other T classes. The only current record listed is 49 mph. Some of the smaller T classes which use a similar boat have more records and very high speeds.
Remember other than GT30 the T classes are based on motor displacement STOCK motors.
T400 for example is 67.7 mph
T550 is 64.95 mph.
Even GT30 is 58.9 mph.
IMPRESSIVE
The 50 hp Tohatsu motor is superior. The problem likely is, that boat can't handle the power. On the right boat. I bet the record goes over 70 mph.

I guess I was on target. Here is the last post on Ron Hill's site.

Jason increased the speed by the end of the week to 66.69 mph !!!
We achieved this by running a prop off our F4S boat !!
Already planning for next year we think that it would be a great achievement to get 70mph !!

The poles who got the MK9 license are selling their hulls pretty cheap. Maybe it could interest you :
