Saw this post on another project thread.
We picked a deck from a spaeth built voodoo for my dads buddies delta hull Because the dimensions are almost the same.
Last year I had two people ask about doing the same thing. It would help them if there was more on how this worked out.

We asked spaeth to leave a larger lip for the deck to mount to the hull. There's some minor grinding to get a better fit but it does work.

Haha it's not finished, we been meaning to get down to help him out again. I'll check with my dad and see if he's got some pictures of the rough fit. its been a while since ive seen it, but from what i remember we have to raise or drop the transom slightly, and redo the wood in the boat. With the extra few inches of lip on the deck there is more then sufficient to join the hull to the deck. the reason for redoing the deck with a voodoo one is that when he bought the boat, the deck wasnt original. we figured someone had flipped the boat and damaged the deck years before, and had replaced it with a homemade "bubble" deck. its a cool build, i think his plans are for a 70 hp yamaha that i coned for him.

ill post some pictures tomorrow night, its just of the deck sitting on the hull. itll give you a pretty good idea of how it fits. its actually the regular length of lip on the deck but they left some excess for easier fitting later.

haha just a few, this ones not actually my project but i found him the deck and the hull. heres the pictures of whats done, its a work in progress but itll be sweet. the main thing that needs to be done is lose the splashwell on the voodoo deck to get a nicer fit.

Wow! would that ever have a lot of nose lift! That could make a perfect T750 hull.
Almost a bat boat design.

its a sweet hull, found it on the side of the road for sale 10 minutes away from my place. we think its a delta hull but not 100% as we cant find that much info on either the delta or the critchfield hulls.
