It depends upon which model 20 ft Allison. The XR 2001 is probably the easiest to drive. Similar to the 13ft. The XR 2002, and XB 2002 are the second easiest if the lip on the pad is correct. Next in line is the XB 2003, it's a little trickier in that you generally have to shift weight to balance trolling motors and seating on the right side. The most difficult is the 2003 Grand Sport. You have to balance weight as well as deal with the high deck & windshield that effect air flow at high speed. Any wind coming from the side will through the GS off the pad. The SS2000 is easy at lower speeds, but can be tricky at 90mph+ speeds.
In all cases I'm rating the difficulty at very high speeds, 90mph+. We own a XR 2002, a XB 2002 & a 13ft. Allison we race. We had a 2003 Grand Sport that ran 104-105 with two people. With one person we would have probably hurt ourselves. We have driven all the others many times.
