Hi Don, What about 2014? Thom
The T group has not talked about that combination as to it being legal in T750. The idea of allowing it in the first place was to encourage the owners of VooDoo's, Checkmates, Kennedys etc. with long shaft 70 hp to race. Craig's Critchfield is really at the high end of that scale. We want the T750 pure motors to be the class of the T750 field. By having these other motors with different performance charactistics it can really add to the race and as we saw in Dunnville the fans and drivers loved it. I mentioned on another thread that I can see us having a grey area with boats that run low 60's. I think that group can be filled with short shaft big foot 2 strokes, omcs, yamahas and mercurys and 4 strokes. That group would be part of T850 not T750.
T wants to have different makes and models in the classes because it adds to the fan interest and we try to fit entries into groups where they fit. T is flexable and adjustable. If we had 3 ETECS, 2 4 Strokes and 4 2 stroke big foots we can make them a separate group and class with in T. This allows us to keep up with the modern trends and run boats and motors people want to race.
