Ill come by, hopefully I'll have a new motor for the voodoo by then.

What power? for 750/850?

Right now I am setup with a 50 evinrude. Looking to get a different motor. Just need to find the right parts at the right price.

Post a list of parts wanted...if your looking to race I'm sure guys can find some stuff for you

Right now I am basically starting at square one. I bought my voodoo with a 50 etec on it last season. steering is on the side. no foot throttle. I wouldn't mind getting into racing.

So right now I have to move the steering to the center, Install a foot throttle, Put in a new single seat(right now its a bench seat). Then basically just build/buy a motor. Hopefully for T850 class. I don't know all the rules and regulations. So not sure exactly what I am allowed do. Still Researching. Any help is much appreciated.

You just got our interest. The ETEC. How fast does the boat run now? You could race the boat in T750 with that motor. You likely only need a race prop, maybe raise the motor if it is a new VooDoo, add a foot throttle.
IF? the boat runs 50 to 55 mph your competitive.

Ran it next to my seadoo last year got about 52 out of it. 20 liters of gas in it with a 230 lbs driver. Haven't had a chance to run it off a gps or radar. Its the newer style. I have a decent prop on it now. Can't remember the details on it off top of my head. its a 2007 Evinrude 50 Etec.

The T Boat Rules allow you to race that motor in T750 eventhough the cubic inch of the motor is larger than the class limit. You are not allowed to alter it. It has to run bone stock. It would be competitive.

Reinhard:
- where r u on 6ML?..east shore, S of McEaghan's. I'm on Long Lake, through narrows 3rd on right (LC: Stay away).
- per Houndog, unless you're compelled to get a 49/56ci for 2013, work on your boat first this year(eg: center steer, lighten it up, check core & transom, kill switch, foot throttle, good steering system, straighten bottom, work on set up/setback, test props, etc...). Do all of this in 2013, come race T750(eg: WF, GH),and you'll have accomplished much. There are enough of us on 6ML, we'll help with all above.
- T750 is a great class to get used to racing an oval. It is nothing like running 3km down the lake on calm water. It's MUCH more fun!
- Your 6ML kilo run prop might not be ideal for oval course, where acceleration is important. We'll see who has Merc props to lend you. Mercrazy might have a few, Rusty likely, Nicastro(60) and Grossi(40) both run Mercs on 6ML.
- Take your time to find 49/56 engine for 2014. Folks here will keep an eye out, take your time.
- Come out to TORC club meeting this Saturday(9-12pm), if only for an hour, stop in, make friends, it'll go a long way.
- Where's home?
Finally, If you don't do any of the above, definitely show up at T party.

I'm down the road from you Erik. On Sanders Dr,I live here full time. I use to have a place on hungry Island. I met you this year at hoopers for the safe boating meet up. And again when you ran out of gas in front of my cottage in your voodoo I believe. Me and rusty came over and lent you some gas. Your son knows me as well. My name is Ryan Schilke. I'm not in a rush. Going to take my time and do everything right.
