I got weight for my first race faring, I cut off all the extra fiberglass and did a weight.. it weighs 44 lbs. i know that may seem like much but it was my first layup. this one is for sale for 500 dollars the discount is due to the weight!
there are no imperfections on the surface, only a small one on the lip of it, but that is were it mates with the deck, so you cant see it, and if it a big deal i can wet sand it and buff it away very easily!
I have two seats done up now as well. one i added a little extra re enforcement, they are about 5 lbs a piece.
I layed up one seat and it is a big flexible however it is very strong, i can stand on it while its sideways!
the seats will be done shortly. I also am making another seat mold so I can infuse two seats at once.

so 500 bucks for a race faring at 44 lbs. and two seats available shortly. one has a divini cell core for a seat base and one has plywood for a seat base. I want to see how both turn out. the divincell seat is exactly 4.2 lbs and the plywood seat is 5.1 lbs.

and the best part!, I WENT SLEDDING

yep zr9 with risers and a D and D clutch setup.
actually haven't had any engine trouble except when the engine was built up for more power not because it blew up)..... the fellow who built it put the PTO crank seal put it in backwards when he built up the engine and it leaned PTO side cyl out and poped it.. he fixed it free of charge and it has been running fabulous ever since. that was 2000 miles ago.

4300 miles and never poped the engine other then the backwards crank seal after install.
