Our idea of he ultimate boat would be a high tech TUFF 28 with an Ilmor 725, That would be a long life, very reliable, pump gas, fastest in its class, 115mph machine.

What about a canopy version with a 565 for the sv class? It would be fun seeing your boat beating up the outerlimits!

When I hit the numbers I'll sign the cheque for the infused ilmor version.... lol. I would struggle having a dodge in my boat though.. :lol:

Mark ,I always thought your 28' looked a lot like Aronow's 27' squadron X! Is there any relation by design or is it just the similarity of a low pro 27' hull! I've run a squadron with a 400hp cyclone and trs drive just about 60mph! wondered if you had any weight comparison numbers!
