Running STV modvp with 260 & 20" mid.

What prop's & pitch would be good to run?

I have a modified 24 14 1/4 Spenelli
Let me know, the spenelli pulls hard & thinking of running it?

Also have a 4 blade 28 Drag prop from Tim & also pulls (great prop!)

Thanks
Jeff :)

Little modified 260, 2 steel sleeves, 1 inch spacer.
ecu, good question?? Timing all the way up,
Have always run 50 gas 50 avgas,

Running about 4 inch set back, 20" ridgeback (not cut)
Pulley steering, high comp. heads, going to add 24v trim
Have all the safety equipment,

I had my power head rebuilt & put new electronics on it.
Until I punch it, don't know the rev lim.
Only done break in so far this year, before winter.
Jeff

What class do you guys think I should run in, F2 ?

Lake Racer is your class. Is there a 2cnd seat in the boat ?
Post some pics of your ModVP in the Lake Racer boat pictures post.

Love to play in the lake racer, but?

I have a modvp with the drag top.
Semi capsule,,coffin cowling on the back,

If I take off the back cowling, I can add a second seat :?:
Love to post pics, but never was able,,??
Going to try later today.

Again:
STV modvp bottom with a drag deck.
Motor, 260, but set up to run 50/50 gas/avgas.

I have tried running pump gas 91, but motor runs to hot.
Always runned half/half.
Motor has 2 steel sleeves, some relief,
Still in lake racer??

Anthony, can you post a pic of my boat?
I think I sent you pics? 8-)
Thanks Jeff

You'll be fine for Lake Racer. The ModVP was built with an option for two seats so you're kind of sort of ok for Lake Racer.
Your engine is perfectly fine as well.

Thanks Jeff,
Thats the class I will prepare for.

Safety inspection:
Which helmets & Jackets are required?
I have an offshore & capsule "lifeline jackets"
May have to be re-certified.

Helmet was certified to run in the opc class, so I would say its still good.
Ran my safety gear in the sst45 class (OPC).

Do we need a fuel & elect. kill switch or just one?

What kind of start do you guys do?
Is it a rolling start?

Damm!, this is going to be fun,,, :D
Sorry, but Im sure I will have a bunch more questions.

One thing I remember, prep, prep, prep, is the most important thing ;)
