Pretty sure it would do at least 82 Doc. . . Or maybe it would float for 82 seconds

Hahah how about this. . ;) you put a stock 280 on your boat and I'll find an Allison with a stock 280 and we will get a couple radar guns to clear the air.

Fuck that...put a 15" 3.1 on an Alliston boat and see if it floats...then put an anchor, dog, cooler, Littlecharger and 100L of fuel and see if it'll go 100...THAT would clear the air.

That is pretty funny stuff...

Jeff... I doubt either Mr. Bigalow or I are gonna re-rig our boats to settle this....
And I really do not think that Triads are quicker than ss2000's..... I Just go back to my
original post that I am very suspect of some people's top end numbers who spew shit like it's no big thang
that they just ran 120 + mph etc.... While the some others in the boating population make honest passes with good power and set up (not me.. .I'm slow) and do not even come close. And then others slurp it up like gospel.

And hey ... who knows... I may be wrong.

If that bucket of bolts on the back of that think won't take me over a 100 I'm not riding in it...unless the cooler has my favourite beverage in it! lol

I'm sorry I could only get you to 99mph LC..... If it was an ally... We would have been 103 - 104 easy.

And if yammer set it up... Probably 108 - 109... (that one was pretty funny... You have to admit jeff.. lol)

Sometimes I wonder if the big numbers come not from the run.. But more that the GPS gets tricked by the velocity of the violent leftward spin???? Who knows... :)

BAM...you win...All I can picture is Lee (captainhook) pitching his GPS out of the boat during one of his lefties....106...no big deal...

That's the best part , I wouldn't have to re rig Ted's boat.

I'm pretty sure Rex calls them there boats hook'r boats! lol.... I gaurantee the fastest Lee has gone in a boat was when he spun his SS with the drag on it! "well... Here we go!".

Braxton or chummy(without hitting the nos button) would be a great comparison for ya! I can barely afford to put gas in my boat.. So I really don't see temorarily rigging a 280... Unless Kryskow wanted to sponsor the project.. lol. If I still had the Promax I would try it for sure if somebody donated the motor. It would be interesting for sure... But Jeff... It would be an unfair advantage because Mr. Bigalow has all of your set up expertise!!!!!!! And I have only knowledge aquired from shit that I read!!! :)

This is too much fun.
