Hey Guys id like to revisit this and see if I can find a prop for Zachs voodoo. A couple guys have offered some to try but that little 30 Yamaha has a diff spline then the merc.

Ultimately would like something 14-16 pitch and prefer a chopper. I saw some Ron Hill stuff but they were all cleavers. I would try one if one was available local

Thanks guys!

Mark

Ya I checked out his Ebay store and it only showed cleavers. I should give them a call.
Thank you!

You can change the hub to a 30 hp yamaha in the smaller Mercury chopper. Most times you can use the same chopper on the 30 and the 50 yamaha because of the lower gear ratio in the 50 hp. You only need to change the hub for each motor. The spline on the 50 yamaha is the same as the mercury. Since this prop was on a 50 mercury, it will fit the 50 yamaha. You will need to put a 30 yamaha hub in it.

The jetting is fine on the 30 yamaha.......most outboards run on the fat side, manufacturers would sooner be safe than sorry.....the 30 yamaha is only 30 cubic inches so it will take a while to get the chopper up to speed.......
