I dunno, does it mean your SRV gets less use? I get the appeal, it takes both our boats, J Craft and SS2000, to haul the family, and we are very cautious of the gel.

The SRV never gets used anyway lol. It's my hot rod and I'll use it as such. Even if it is infrequent I'm OK with it.

This is the first regular boat I've owned and it's so relaxing. Other boats slow for my wake! Lol. And it still has 365hp so it's not a slouch...

Just do what I do....I remind my wife all the time how wonderful I am and all the little and big things I do ad nauseam. LOL!

Bingo - perfect recipe for a relaxing boating day. I had similar concern with my drunk buddies, brothers, and party beach tramps scratching the gel on the Triad. Does it have a location for a little porta-pottie to make it even more family friendly ? Cool boat, keep the pics coming !

My SS2000 is the hot rod and we stuffed 5 into it to watch the fireworks in Orillia last Canada day. Both boats next year. The SRV is to nice to sit.

Yes...i will use the SRV more...i promise lol.

But...perfect example we took the Lancer on its "test drive" to the fireworks in Parry Sound...we had 8 people on board and the kids ran around and played in the cuddy. RAN AROUND lol...inside the boat! We also were rafted with 7 other boats...one being the 34' superboat as well as jamescole's 24' Mariah bowrider. I could never do that to the SRV.

Don't get me wrong I'm way in love with my fast boat but I can see the appeal of Mitchie style boating too...which is way more chill lol.

It was originally equipped with a holding tank and I assume some sort of head. We're not usually that far from the cottage to worry too much lol. Otherwise we can sneak into the 34 Super lol.

Take the kids out in the SRV. Get them involved in going fast early. It did not work with my brothers' kids, maybe it will work with yours

cool ride Rick. Not too many people would know enough about the history, and might pass it up.

Thx for sharing the pics and story!
