With Fall here I want to pump/store all engines with ethanol free fuel with stabilizer.
Having searched top fuel brand Interwebsites for ethanol free fuel claims/data, it's apparent there is ambiguous and conflicting information. Some sites suggested gas bar manager discretion determines whether to supply ethanol free premium(WTH?).
Per Shell VPower 91 pump decals they claim ethanol free, will assume that's true, but I'm seeking other sources for quality and price.
Came upon this site:
http://www.pure-gas.org/aboutMacEwen fuels(
http://www.macewen.ca/) is cited, largely in Ontario, a bar in Barrie, and on 400, North of Waubashene. Their pricing always a few cents cheaper than majors. Their website not clear whether premium is ethanol-free. I called 2 stations( Waub & Barrie), they said 'it depends on the day'. So I called their head office, their fuel products Manager reported their premium is always Ethanol free. With quite a few folks close to Gbay/Muskoka, they're convenient on 400 just north of Waub bridge; there is a Shell on 12, 1km west of 400, another in Coldwater(cheaper).
BTW there is a huge range of same day pricing in central Ontario; about a month ago Shell V91 was 1.24 in Brechin, 1.11 in Orillia, 40km down the road. Rarely seen it that wide. But that's another topic/thread.
