Between a 60hp 2 cyl and a 70 hp 3 cyl. 49 cu inch would there be any difference on top end. Because of the bigger bottom end with a larger prop would the 70 be better. Would the 10 hp make that much difference.

Given the weight of the pontoon the 3 cylinder will perform a lot better then the 2 cylinder at all ranges including top end. The 3 cylinder just has more torque to deal with the additional weight
