If she parks the car at Edgewater Park and we take them over in the pontoon, someone could easily drive the pontoon back to that launch to take them back.

Today's rain is greatly welcomed! This is only the 4th time it's rained here in the past 2 months. The grass is crunchy and trees are losing leaves so hopefully this will put some moisture in the ground and water in the wells.

The past few years we've been able to provide some trailers for people to sleep in overnight, but unfortunately this year we won't have any available to us. However, we do have a sofa bed, a spare bedroom with a twin bed, and a few air mattresses that can be used in the living room or family room. And as per usual, lots of room in the yard for tents and trailers.

I think we're looking at about 21 boats/50 people based on replies. Let's hope for a beautiful day next Saturday!!

Event is still a go...rain or shine!

Although it's been raining all through Ontario today, it's been missing us. But even if the rain does move down to West Lake on Saturday, we can hang out at the house for some bench racing until the clouds clear.

Fireban has been lifted today by the Fire Marshall. Campfire, fireworks a go! Forecast for tomorrow is looking better every time I check it!

Another Awesome Day at West Lake - Great People, Food, Weather. Doesn't get much better.
