Hi guys I know many of you on here have some very serious fast boats, and for these I understand you
need to have very precise steering.
But for us mere mortals who only ever dream of having a boat that goes over 60mph what would be the best
mounts when having to change a set. ?
I don't even know what material the solids are made from i.e alloy stainless steel, iron etc.

Also from what I understand if the tops are solid then the bottoms also need to be solid ?

opinions on mounts would be good.
.

If you can drive your boat without solid mounts than don't bother...not worth the rattles IMO.

I will take that as a no no for just cruising around.
I am no way the owner of a race boat and already have a few rattles in my tug.
I suppose if originals have lasted 20 years they cant be too bad.

Thanks for swift reply.
In a way it was answer i was looking for.

Phill.
