Got a call at 4:00 this morning. They found the truck.
Hopefully it will be repairable.
I guess the project has changed again!!

That's amazing!! Congrats, lady luck is on your side.

Don't be so sure......

I guess it depends on what you have for insurance but the expression "drive it like you stole it" would be stuck in my head lol..

Thanks guys. First impression is its not that bad. The truck was VERY dirty and everything in the console and glove box is all over the truck. Not really sure what's missing. They are bringing it to an "approved" shop here in Peterborough for assessment. We will see how it goes from there. Couldn't start it as the ignition was smashed out of it. Time will tell.

They did the same thing to mine.
Had to do a "humpty dumpty" job on the ignition barrel to get the truck started then we couldn't shut it off till we got home.
Glad they didn't BBQ the old girl.
A good truck is like a good dog. You keep it until it dies then hope you can find another one as good!

Soo... I said I had a checkmate project that I was excited to build. But it didn't have the "WOW" factor. Then after a cold long winter Ken "KAL Racing" found a couple hydrostreams. there was a valero and a vector. I chose the vector (1973 model) Going to be stripping more of the boat when we get some sunny days. removing the core floor and transom and will be replacing it all. For a fast RACING MACHINE! 8-) 8-)
