I will try to get weighed in the next day or so when it stops snowing :o

Really happy to hear Pat is closer than he thought, the rule would be no good if he couldn't run.

I'm good with it and think i can get close too.

Screw all you guys. I am going to cut a hole in the floor of my boat and install a bladder that I can fill with water weigh in. Then pump it out once the boat is splashed. The. I can run sub 1350lbs. Once I kick everyone's ass. I can fill the bladder again on my way to the trailer a Gotta put all this wake board stuff to use

It has been done before. That is why there used to be an official at the weigh-in for most races. Hopefully we will have three people to help inspect the boats prior to weigh in.

I'm good with the 1550 weigh rule  There should be some more thought given to an extra class... River Racer class would fit the bill for a few of our boats, not mine but I would run it anyway.

The problem is the volunteers to make sure it gets called properly !!!! There isn't enough volunteers that care to do the jobs that are needed to be done as it is . . . and god forbid anyone wants to not volunteer their time and enjoy the race day at hand !!
Finish line duties would be nice to be split up.
Start boat needs one person that won't screw up a ladder , one person to help the starter and another just as help in case anchors dislodge or need to be relocated.
Not enough people on shore that even have the radios required for driver / one crew member.

I'm simply being realistic here and we do NOT have the help that is required as it is. There needs to be more than the help that's there in case they are unable to be there for what ever reason.

We are forced to volunteer for duties during all other races, why can't other racers be volunteered for the short time we get to run ???
