Picked up some hydro steering for the challenger, looks like its all intact.

Picked up a 12" offset for the boat this weekend. Ill snap a pic tomorrow. If i use my 8" offset jackplate that will put me at 20", seems to be what these boats like.

Couple pics of the goods, motor offset and the lower unit i got on trade.

Any sugestions on what to use epoxy/ filler wise on the lower unit? The filler needs to be finished on the opposite side where the bobs was welded on

I use west system epoxy with the slow or extra slow hardener. Adding the microfibers on the lower layer and body fillers on the top layer. Jb weld and spot putty from there and repaint it. Is the water pump cavity filled or empty? I fill mine with fiberglass resin and have never had issues.

i used mas epoxy, cotton fiber and colloidal silica. it is hard as %#$@ too sand .
