I also have new solid mounts for it in my toolbox, never installed them though. $75 if anyone wants them lol

The solid mounts are well worth the effort and can be done in an afternoon...if done right ...you don't even have to disconnect the electrix...and with clam shell cowls...its even easier ;)

Sold the 150 and put my 75 merc on it last season to cruise around. Tore out the interior last week then got too busy to do anymore work. But still optimistic to be on the water by August.. :roll:

Nice! Im hoping to get my 1980 16 in the water in a week or so. Is yours still the factory round bottom keel?

Ive got a 150 black max for it, no jack plate tho but thats next year. The bottom on mines got a delta pad mod and strake extension. Should be interesting to see how much more stability it gains at high speeds.

We'll have to compare notes later. I went with a full length pad on my 16 Low-Pro. I should have it back in the water late next week if all goes well.
