Sweet mid...always room for one more boat..I usually like to keep pairs around here so we better find another one ! Lol
haha well don't make the offer seem too open! But ya I decided to go smaller, I'm thinking it will be a lot more fun for sure, especially getting back into a vee. I'm going to try and keep some of the costs low on the boat so there probably won't be a lot of extras, but I was brought up to always want things to be done right...
... so I don't want to cheap out. Especially since my plan is to put some bigger power on it and as James said make it a "weapon" I definitely don't want to cheap out on the rebuild and I want it to be solid. I'm going to redo the transom, core (if there isn't one I'll put one in), floor, and stringers, then flip the boat and make sure all the pad is straight then sand it down and get it all painted. As I said for the motor choice, my first thought was to go with the 2.0L 150, but honestly it'll probably be whatever 150-200 hp powerhead the gun's got sitting in his shop when it comes time to getting the boat all rigged up.
Any thoughts on allykid?
