For the recors..I was gonna do it...my buddy works at a machine shop and has a really kickass cutring tool that cuts rather than grinds...with a little paper towel, a good magnet and vaccum n compressed air pretty sure I could keep it clear of debris. Not to mention I can use silly outty to block the crack between the piston and cyl wall haha it can be done...I almost wanna do it just because you guys say it can't be hahaha

I'll have the new motor this week ...I'm hoping...
Anyone wanna make an offer on this motor? I'd let it go for 3000
With both sets of heads all parts (both sets of carbs, excel exhaust tuner blah blah) etc gaskets both gearcases, guages and ill throw in the block I tore apart (block useless but the crabk and 5 pistons and startwe etc etc is all there and the controls
Its a spotless motor. ..check the kijiji add for pics after I cleaned pistons up...she looks brand new and not a single scratch on the cyl walls..still has a criss cross patteen on all 6 sleeves. Pm me offers..I want that opti on my boat...lol if someone has close to that amount...you will get a sick motor and tons of parts to go with it

you were supposed to give me that pooched block,, and dok wanted the crank,............. :| among other things.

If dubber grabs it, hopefully he will givebthe crank to dok...I forgot I had promises that..and you can have the block..its completely useless to anyone the hole in the block os far beyond any repair and is only good for you to practice porting on. Because I dod promise thw crank...if Dubber wants it all, ai will come good on the crank and ill buy one to give to dok...that's my bad for forgetting I had promised that stuff to you guys

It totally can be done...but...I guarantee the inside of the motor will be dirty which may or may not hurt it. My point is that it's not worth the risk or your time to raise the exhaust ports slightly...especially if you don't need the revs.

You will literally spend more time trying to keep it clean than it takes to pull it down and do it right lol.

Your PMs will be "stuck" in your outbox until the other person reads them, all good. PM sent.

Ahh ok...the lower units aren't for sale without the rest of the motor. One guy has shown some interest today from kijiji..if he takes it with the reg gearcase, I am selling the lwp case..but its spoken for already.
